The tech site is the first to gain access to unobscured images of Amazon's new smartphone.
According to BGR, the images were illustrated for internal design purposes and reveal a large screen with tile-like features and three buttons on the side. The back has the Amazon logo and two speaker grilles at the bottom.
While the phone looks pretty ordinary, it's what is on the inside that Amazon is banking on. The interface is expected to be new and unique, and will use four cameras and sensors to track a user's head movements to provide various 3D effects that will come with apps supported by Amazon and other developers. It is expected to use the Fire OS, currently being used in Kindles.
Amazon is also expected to use "Prime Data" as a key selling point. While details are unclear, BGR says that the service could be a AT&T-only offer that will include a data package including access to a certain amount of Prime video and music streaming free of charge. Though nothing is confirmed so far.
Amazon is reportedly expected to unveil the phone in June and start shipping it sometime this fall.
